Eccleston Yard: Feel Good Flowers Workshop

Moyses Stevens Flowers School team had the pleasure of hosting the first of two outdoor events at Eccleston Yard for STRETCH, Belgravia’s newest month-long programme of wellness events. 

Our Feel Good Flowers workshop proved to be an enjoyable event for our attendees, who enjoyed the immersive experience of working with flowers and enjoy some "me time". Hosted by senior tutor Gemma with a meadow theme, students were guided through conditioning, flower care, and the design principles of creating a gorgeous whimsical jar of flowers. 

Gemma explains. 

‘Most of our classes are held at our Battersea School, where we have a collection of workshops for anyone interested in flowers, but we regularly host classes all around London and beyond for corporate clients, product launches or groups of friends who would like to have some fun, whilst learning a new skill. 

We were delighted to have been invited to participate in Belgravia’s Wellness campaign and love the opportunity to demonstrate how working with flowers is therapeutic and great for the wellbeing. We often see the effects that working with nature can have. Students relax and unwind when they start working with flowers, and the process of working with nature is a great way to connect with the moment and forget any worries or pressures that life often throws at us. We chose a wild meadow style for the design, and it was wonderful to be working outside and enjoy the late summer atmosphere of Eccleston Yard - one of London's surprising secrets, tucked away in Belgravia. Our next workshop will be on 01st October; we look forward to a more Autumnal vibe with the amazing flowers avaliable in October.’
