Farewell to our Sunshine Pop-up

Farewell to our Sunshine Pop-up

9th Aug 2023

We’d say our sunflower pop-up in collaboration with ice cream maestros, Chin Chin came at just the right time. As London didn’t see too much by way of sunshine during July and early August, our teams were radiating brightness in lieu of the warm weather. Sadly time has flown and we’ve said farewell to our alfresco flower stand but not before we have a little reminisce.

Together with our friends at Selfridges, we knew we wanted to bring a slice of summer to the passers-by of Duke Street (just off London’s iconic Oxford Street). With sunflowers coming into season - (coincidently in the trademark tones of the department store) we knew they had to take centre-stage. Add in Chin Chin’s glorious yellow ice cream van and we had the perfect recipe to brighten the days of those wandering through Central London!

If you haven’t come across the talented team at Chin Chin, then you need to know this is no ordinary soft serve. Forget raspberry sauce - these concoctions are adorned with double-chocolate chip cookies, and don’t get us started on the cherry-filled ice cream sandwich!

Our fabulous team presided over the flowers, which included cones of dried flowers to bring a slice of everlasting summer into your home, alongside the gloriously statuesque sunflowers. It’s bittersweet as we say farewell to our perfect pop-up - summer isn’t over just yet and let’s hope it takes inspiration from our beacon of sunshine.

You can always rely on one of our stores (including our permanent location in Selfridges) to brighten your day - filled with the finest stems of the season. Discover where you can find your nearest Moyses Stevens Flower Shop here.
