Forsythia & Roses for Les Ambassadeurs
Posted by Duncan McCabe on 21st Feb 2023
The joyous appearance of the sunshine yellow deciduous shrub - forsythia - is a definitive marker that spring beacons and sunnier days will soon follow. In the world of flowers every month in the calendar yields its own delights but some months are more bountiful than others. As we transition from nature's leanest period into a season of abundance, forsythia is the cheery baton that straddles
the seasons as we stride triumphantly into spring and as the world of flowers gets even more fragrant and colourful!
Up-in-your-grill yellow can sometimes feel a little unnerving if used on its own. So we often knock down the intensity by blending other shades to pull a little of the focus and prevent any burning of the retinas. This week at Les Ambassadeurs Cub in Mayfair, the creatives from Moyses Contracts Team transformed the ornate fire place with a blend of forsythia and a fruit salad cocktail of roses for a visually impactful display as joyous as springtime.
