InterContinental Hotel: Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Posted by Duncan McCabe on 25th Jan 2023
Last week the Moyses Stevens’ Contracts team descended on Mayfair’s Intercontinental Park Lane hotel to prepare the beautiful lobby for Chinese New Year celebrations. The two-week festival which commenced on Sunday 23 January was marked with a sensational display filled with symbolism for the occasion also known as Spring Festival.
To welcome the Year Of The Rabbit, our florists chose vivid red anthuriums which represent joy, happiness and good fortune as well as towering golden forsythia to signify wealth. It’s farewell to the tiger as the year of the rabbit arrives - in the Chinese zodiac, this is said to embody a calming energy, bringing relaxation and quietness.
