Tea Time at Medici Courtyard

May 2022 in London was certainly a busy and exciting one! We celebrated in scented and sensational style The RHS Chelsea flower show and Chelsea In Bloom, honouring the theme of all things British for her Majesty’s Royal Platinum Jubilee. We are delighted to say we won gold for our Shakespeares garden installation outside our very own Chelsea shop on Pavilion road. A book was discovered which noted all the British flowers used in his plays which we used to create the lush, romantic design. A truly poetic concept!
Our florists had great fun getting creative with many other installations in the area and when the time came for the dismantling of them, it was sad to say the least. But with sustainability at the heart of the work we do, we was excited to work with GPE to repurpose our much-loved teapot design which was originally commissioned for Belgravia in Bloom. Once a delivery yard unfit for public enjoyment, Medici Court is now a sustainable pocket oasis for the community, thanks to GPE. Now linking Bond Street and Hanover Square as well as leading to the new Elizabeth line, Medici Court is a convenient and contemporary space.
The quintessential teapot has been reworked using British plants to offer up a drop of tranquility in the midst of Mayfair. Take a minute, grab a book and make your way over to Medici Court to brew over those business ideas or to simply enjoy some quiet contemplation next to our repurposed teapot. Cheers!
