Strelitzia, commonly known as Birds of Paradise, are famed for their brightly coloured and bird shaped blooms. While often forgotten are the large dark green foliages they come from. One of the tallest and largest leafed plants you’ll find on the market. While this may take a while to bloo, in your home, it makes up for it with its expansive dark green foliages which can fill any space effectively.

From the tropics, they prefer similar conditions which you can create at home or indoors. They prefer humid environments, so misting regularly is advised and watering regularly too to maintain the moisture. Place in a sunny spot, with plenty of direct sunlight too.
