About flower delivery in Temple

Flower Delivery Temple, by Moyses Stevens.

Temple is where the medieval City meets the legal profession. Inside EC4Y and the southern edge of EC4A sit Middle Temple and Inner Temple — two of the four Inns of Court — along with the connecting chambers, the Temple Church, the Temple Gardens running down to the Embankment, and a tight cluster of corporate offices along Tudor Street and on the southern stretches of Fleet Street.

Our delivery network covers Temple same-day for orders placed by 6pm. The recipient pattern is similar to Holborn: heavily legal, with regular volumes of congratulation flowers for silk appointments, retirement bouquets, bereavement arrangements through legal-professional networks, and the corresponding personal-occasion orders to barristers' chambers from family members.

Middle Temple and Inner Temple have their own access protocols. The main entrances are off Tudor Street, the Embankment, and from the Strand side via the Temple Bar gates. Each Inn has porter's lodges at its main entrances. Deliveries to chambers go via the porter and then on to the chambers' clerk room rather than directly to a barrister's office. Include the recipient's name, the Inn (Middle or Inner) and the chambers name at checkout. The porters know the buildings and the personnel.

For specific chambers — Brick Court, Essex Court, Blackstone, 4 Stone Buildings, Fountain Court, the major commercial and chancery sets — addressing to "Chambers of [Head]" rather than the individual barrister is the standard. Senior clerks coordinate the handover.

The Temple Church sits at the heart of the Inns and is open to the public. We deliver flowers for funerals and memorial services held there — typically the family or the chambers organising the service places the order. Include the service date and time at checkout, and the name of the relevant person to receive the flowers.

For the corporate offices along Tudor Street and the Fleet Street side — the legal publishers, the historic accountancy firms, the older trading houses still operating in the area — deliveries go through central reception. Include the recipient's name and the company at checkout.

The Temple Gardens running down to the Embankment are private property of the Inns but visible from outside. We don't deliver to the gardens themselves; flowers to addresses fronting the gardens go to the building's main entrance off Tudor Street or Carmelite Street.

Hospital deliveries from Temple most often go to St Bartholomew's in Smithfield, the Royal London on Whitechapel, and UCLH on Euston Road. Each hospital has its own flower policy. For ICU and HDU patients, call our concierge team first.

Card messages are included free with every order, printed on Moyses Stevens stationery. Gift presentation is hand-tied tissue and a presentation box. Price is hidden from the recipient.

For Temple residential addresses — there are very few, mostly within the Inns themselves where some senior members maintain residential chambers — include the Inn and the chambers name at checkout. Access protocols are the same as for working chambers.

The legal year pattern shapes our Temple deliveries. October (the start of the legal year) and the announcement rounds for QC appointments see peaks. Easter, Whitsun and Trinity term boundaries also generate predictable surges. For these dates we recommend booking two or three days in advance to secure preferred delivery windows.

Same-day delivery runs seven days a week, including Sundays and most bank holidays. Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day are the only annual exceptions. Every order is covered by our Stem freshness promise.
